Terms and Conditions

  1. All cancellations are chargeable unless I can fill your slot (which I will always try to if more than 24 hours notice is given).
  2. Travel charges to your visit are free, if less than 5 miles from Tregony, over 5 miles away is charged at 50p per mile both ways. If I have to pay to park in a carpark to visit you this is also chargeable.
  3. Travel charges for trips are charged from your pick up point until I drop you back. Travel charges are 50p per mile plus any parking charges are chargeable.
  4. Invoices are emailed every 4 weeks, which means once a year, often October, there could be 2 invoices sent out. If you dont use email I can send them by WhatsApp or print a paper copy.
  5. Termination of services. If you decide you no longer want the services of Meg Beel Homecare Services then 2 weeks notice is required. If you want me to stop immediately then the 2 weeks is still chargeable. The only time this isn’t chargeable is in the event of death of patient/customer.
  6. Sickness– You must inform Meg Beel of ANY sickness in the home before my visit. Sickness includes Covid 19 , or possible Covid 19 that you haven’t tested for, Sickness and/ or diarrhea, flu, rashes or infectious diseases. Once disclosed I will advise whether I can attend or not. I look after a lot of sick people who have weak immune systems hence not  being able to come if you could pass this on.
  7. Price Increase of 5% each April.
  8. MY TIME OFF– Due to being self employed and currently not having employees, by taking on the services of Meg Beel Homecare Services, you understand when Meg is off , 28 days of the year, you will have to find cover for these visits. Meg can try and find cover but this is not always guaranteed.
